Reflecting Earnestly
There are multiple important things that I learning from this course that will apart of my teaching career. The biggest thing I learned is that it is okay to bring in technology into the classroom just to motive and engage your students. PowToons is a great example of how to animate your classroom to teach a lesson to students. In PowToons you can create a video for how long as you want using animated slides, it is similar to PowerPoint but more animated and you can include music as well. Another great tool that be can used in the classroom is TikTok. I know that social media has a bad rep in education, but I believe that if teachers are professional, a social media account such as TikTok can be beneficial and engaging for students. I see many teachers that share activities on TikTok, I know that we can also have our students watch a mini version of our lessons on TikTok as well. Using TikTok could be a study tool for our students during a review session for an upcoming exam. ...
